Mexican Horchata

A traditional Mexican drink made with rice, cinnamon, and vanilla. Refreshing and naturally sweet.

Ingredients

  • 150g white rice
  • 800ml water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons of cane sugar
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Soak: Soak the rice with the cinnamon for 4 hours.

    Quivor: Add the drained rice and fresh water to the jug.

    Mode 2: Start the Soy Milk cycle.
  4. 4
    Strain: Strain through a fine sieve.

    Flavor: Add the sugar and vanilla. Serve over ice cubes.
